Authenticity first. Evidence before shipment.

Authentication & Quality Control

Every Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Dior bag is inspected before we buy it, reviewed again before shipment, and supported by third-party documentation whenever the item is eligible for provider review.

Focused inventory We only handle select luxury bags from four core maisons.
Two-stage review Every item is checked at intake and again before shipment.
Third-party support Entrupy, CheckCheck, and Legitmark are used as independent review layers.
Reports included Customers receive applicable authentication or quality documentation before dispatch.

Our Standard: No Unresolved Authenticity Concerns

Luxury resale should be built on evidence, not broad promises. The Crest Vault does not list first and verify later. Each bag must clear our internal intake review before it becomes available for sale.

If an item has conflicting authenticity markers, unclear documentation, severe condition issues, or any concern we cannot resolve with confidence, we decline it. A smaller catalog is intentional: we would rather sell fewer pieces than dilute trust.

Five-Step Authentication Workflow

01

Source Review

We screen the seller, item history, photos, and supporting documents before accepting inventory.

02

Physical Inspection

Our team reviews construction, materials, hardware, identifiers, condition, function, and accessories.

03

Third-Party Review

Eligible items are submitted to Entrupy, CheckCheck, and/or Legitmark for additional authentication support.

04

Pre-Shipment Check

Before dispatch, the exact item is reviewed again against listing photos, condition notes, and report details.

05

Evidence Sent

We provide applicable certificate, report, reference, and shipping documentation before the order leaves us.

Independent Review Partners

We use third-party authentication providers as additional evidence layers. The exact provider combination may vary by brand, model, material, provider eligibility, and the most appropriate review method for the specific item.

Entrupy authentication icon

Entrupy

Entrupy supports luxury authentication through AI-powered image analysis and high-resolution visual review for eligible handbags and leather goods.

CheckCheck authentication icon

CheckCheck

CheckCheck provides expert-led authentication workflows and digital certificate support, adding another review layer to item-specific documentation.

Legitmark authentication icon

Legitmark

Legitmark offers human expert authentication and shareable certificate or reasoning-report support for eligible luxury goods.

What You Receive With Your Order

Before shipment, we provide authentication or quality documentation from any two of Entrupy, CheckCheck, and Legitmark where applicable to the specific product.

Third-party result Certificate, report, verification result, or provider reference when issued by the service.
Item-linked photos Documentation connected to the exact bag being shipped, not a generic model reference.
Condition notes Visible wear, structure, hardware, interior, odor, accessories, and packaging details where relevant.
Insured shipment record Complimentary insured shipping, tracking details, and signature handling where appropriate.

Evidence Package Preview

The exact documents vary by item and provider eligibility, but the package is designed to connect the review result to the exact bag being shipped.

Built for buyer confidence

Before an eligible order leaves us, we organize the available review evidence so the customer can match the documentation against the listing, item reference, condition notes, and shipment record.

Item identity Product title, internal SKU, brand, material or color notes, and listing photos tied to the exact bag.
Provider result Applicable Entrupy, CheckCheck, or Legitmark certificate, report, verification result, or reference details.
Condition evidence Wear, corners, handles, hardware, lining, odor, inclusions, packaging, and any material caveats we can verify.
Dispatch record Pre-shipment review status, complimentary insured shipping, tracking, and signature handling where appropriate.

When We Decline an Item

We do not accept every bag offered to us. Items may be declined for unresolved authenticity concerns, inconsistent identifiers, altered construction, missing critical details, severe odor, undisclosed repairs, or condition issues that do not meet our boutique standard.

If You Have a Concern

Contact us with your order number, concern, and clear photos. We will review the listing record, intake notes, third-party documentation, and shipment record. If needed, we may arrange an additional review path for the item.

How to read our authentication promise

Luxury resale trust should be specific. We avoid broad, blanket claims and focus on what can be checked for the exact item being sold.

Item-linked evidenceDocumentation should connect to the exact bag, SKU, photos, condition notes, and dispatch record wherever available.
Provider eligibilityThird-party review options vary by brand, model, material, photo requirements, and provider process. Not every item qualifies for the same route.
No unresolved concernsIf a bag raises a concern we cannot resolve confidently, it does not belong in the retail catalog.
Important: third-party reports are additional evidence layers, not a statement of brand affiliation or manufacturer endorsement. The Crest Vault remains an independent pre-owned luxury reseller.

Entrupy, CheckCheck, and Legitmark names and marks belong to their respective owners. The Crest Vault uses these names only to identify third-party authentication and quality-control services. The Crest Vault is an independent pre-owned luxury reseller and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Entrupy, CheckCheck, Legitmark, or their parent companies unless expressly stated in writing. Third-party results are item-specific and depend on each provider's process, availability, and eligibility requirements.
